Hi,
I think you are referring to transitive attribute..With this, you also need to add CHAR1 in your CUBE2 so that you can get the attribute of it..
So you will have:
Char1 - > Char1 for cube1
Char1 -> Char2_char1 for cube2
Char1_nav1 -> Char1_nav1 for cube1
Char1_nav1 -> Char1_nav1 for cube2
In CUBE2 transformation, use your Char2 to map to your Char1 then just use READ FROM MASTERDATA..
